Currently Loving: The Unique Finishes

I can't believe i haven't posted in so long! It's been a busy past few months! Anyway, The turn of the season is quickly approaching, and I'm loving what is coming out in stores for Spring! Here is a glimpse of some shimmer I'm adding to my wardrobe this season.

The bag is from H&M, it adds a pop of color... Okay, or a multitude of colors! It reminds me of a mermaid/oil spill finish & I've never seen anything like it in stores. So unique!

Winter Wardrobe Preview: Prints, Patterns & Textures

I've done some pre-season shopping with all of the great deals that come along with the holiday season, and I'm finding that I'm drawn to different styles, colors and prints that I haven't worn before, and would not have even thought of wearing before. Jewel tone dresses, subtly printed pants, textured and patterned structured tops in unique colors are among my recent purchases.

Black Suede Beauties

I had a bit of Saturday shoe mania today, but I got a nice dose of versatility for such a spontaneous purchase. Truly, I had no intention on buying anything more than a pair of tall black boots, but I ended up with every other style of black shoe (thank goodness for NR sales, & DSW Rewards!)

The Minnetonka boots (similar styles on Minnetonka online and at Nordstrom) will be perfect with loose jersey knits & leggings, and the Steve Madden Inklet Flats & G by Guess Jaxon Booties can be worn with almost anything, day or night.

The Voguish Of November: Plain Or With A Twist?

Turbans and beanies have had their moments in the past, and people are always throwing on ear warmers in attempt to keep warm, but these past few months have produced a great number of turban and beanie heads as the temperatures drop. Though there are many variations of the styles, here is a bundle of my favorite knit headpieces of the moment. Turbans and ear warmers look nice this season paired with a fur vest & a sweater or jersey dress/ a fur vest, sweater, leggings and leather boots. When worn with a graphic tee, jeans, hoop earrings, and wedges, beanies can add a unique, edgy, or cutesy element to an outfit.
